A welcome event was held recently for new Rotarians in the District.

Here are the answers attendees gave when asked the question, why they joined Rotary:
- So much that I love – inspiration, social justice, world peace, power of the individual to create change
- Because I love volunteering, helping the community, especially polio. Friendships. Help others
- For the wellbeing of the community and planet
- Coming from a refugee background, I wanted to help others
- To work with others, to positively impact others in the community
